Well I've always liked taking photos of scenery, but they ended up being overlooked, in favour of photos with family in them. Even getting comments, like, "I don't know why you take then, they are just wasted snaps, and never make it to the albums" Which I guess was true, so I got out of the habit of taking them, apart from the odd one.

I didn't realist that on DA people posted photos, I thought it was for the drawing and painting type of artist. But I've been made aware that it's available to all.

So, I've dug out my favourite photos taken on my digital camera, and started by adding them. I think I might have another couple taken while on holidays abroad, so once I've dug the discs out of dark drawers and corners I'll add them too.

Now in future, on days out and holidays, I'll look at what's around me more, because I have somewhere to put them

I'm not claiming they're artistically any good, just snapshots of nice scenery. That I'll share with whoever wants to see them.
